Bra care devices: BraBABY™

BraBaby™
BraBaby™ bra washing and drying device

http://brababy.com/

BraBABY™ is the revolutionary new washing system that protects your finest intimate apparel from the wear and tear of the washing machine.

BraBaby is a wire frame contraption that keeps expensive bras, especially underwire or padded ones, in shape and protects them in the wash. Goodness only knows what damage a giant wire cage will to do all the other clothes you put in there with the precious bras in their little cocoon. Or what your washing machine will make of it. But still, if it saves me having to handwash them, I’m willing to give it a go. (Source)

I bought two Bra Babys thinking they would be great for washing my molded cup bras. When I opened the first box, I noticed the plastic clasp that closes the Bra Baby was broken, which should have been my first sign of trouble. I decided to keep just the intact Bra Baby and washed my bra in it this morning. I followed instructions exactly, and when my bra came out of the wash, one cup had pulled completely through one of the holes and got entangled in a pair of pajamas with a tie waist. I don't know yet if my $65 bra is ruined. I pulled it back through the hole and tried to reshape it, but it looks a little "off." I would not recommend Bra Baby to ANYONE.
