New Cotton Club collection is out!
Just got the news from the Cotton Club (Italy) newsletter, that the new collection is out: “RC Private Collection". It’s gorgeous. Here are the images:

A new concept of seduction is born, its interpretation by Roberto Crescentini. “The Private RC Collection” is the new brand that expresses the upper class of seduction. It is this the new brand of corsets, lingerie, bustiers and accessories of high range.

Another video: I.D. Sarriery Fashion Parade 2007 Collection
I talked about I.D. Sarrieri only a couple posts below. It is a luxury lingerie brand, yet product’s look is worth quite a steep price (up to $500 for a bra).
Here’s a footage from I.D. Sarrieri fashion parade, 2007 collection:
BTW while browsing for Sarrieri topic, I found an online store (U.S.) with pretty good prices on I.D. Sarrieri products: http://www.lingeriecreations.com/
Elle MacPherson storefront in NY
I heard it’s not a new technology, but it sure catches the eye and interest of passer-byes.
It is an interactive storefront that reveals footage of lingerie models by capturing movements of people who walk by the store.
Princesse Tam Tam new models at MioDestino
Two new sets of French lingerie maker Princess Tam Tam is now sold by Mio Destino (U.K.). Princess Tam-Tam in France is what Victoria’s Secret is in the U.S., except that French lingerie is usually a little more attractive, more sexy then North American. And in general, it seems that North American design is behind European competition - think about all the European cars for example - Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, how they look and perform better then American made Chevys, Dodges and even Saleens.
Anyway, here we go with the pictures: Princesse Tam Tam

Krystal Forscutt lingerie photoshoot

We are not exactly sure which brand of lingerie Krystal Forscutt is modeling for, but her bustier looks really nice, it is probably an upscale line, something a little more sexy then Victoria’s Secret.
Adele Silva - David Venni ‘Hotel Room’ lingerie shoot

Not that Adele is gorgeous or her lingerie is really impressive, but she’s quite hot and we like some of the items she’s wearing in this photoshoot.

This is a $600 bustier: ID Sarrieri Bronze Bustier with Black Chantilly Lace

It is gorgeous. It is a Lamborghini of all bustiers.

Hot Topic lingerie sucks
Well first of all, Hot Topic stinks. Literally. I walked into one in Irvine Spectrum and it smelled. Like in a grave, for real.
And then I looked at their lingerie department.
This green skulls bra is actually not so bad:

Even though $14 for a new bra doesn’t suggest awesome quality.
But check out this one:

Now this is something else - A green zebra bra?. I wouldn’t even care that it’s probably crappy quality. This is not cool. Nor is it sexy. WHTF, Hot Topic?

Triumph International sets up mfg unit in India
Triumph International, the world’s largest manufacturer of women’s innerwear is setting up its own manufacturing unit in India which is said to be one of the largest manufacturing units in the country, with an area of 5, 60,000 sq ft area at Maramalai Nagar, near Chennai.
Today the company has a presence in India through Intimate Fashions, a joint venture with MAST Industries, the makers of Victoria’s Secret, and the MAS Group. This factory is in Gudavanchery (on the outskirts of Chennai) and majority of Intimate Fashions’ production is for Victoria’s Secret and a small portion for Triumph International India.
Triumph International has its new factory set on 14 acres and covers over 5 lakh sq ft. In the first phase, it would have a seating capacity of over 1,300. In the second phase, the factory will accommodate over 2500 sewing operators, creating job opportunities for thousands of women in Chennai. Mr. Rosenberg revealed that the investment in this venture was close to double digit million dollars. Triumph, a German company, has 16 factories all over the world and this would be the 17 th.
“One of the main reasons for locating a factory in India was to be close ‘to the next big thing’ meaning the next growth market after China. Organized retailing is expected to boom in the next few years and this will lead to the growth of brands such as Triumph”, said Jan Rosenberg, Director on Board, Triumph International.
Thorsten Allenstein, General Manager and Country head Triumph India, said the company had selected Chennai because of the proximity to airport, seaport and an investor-friendly Government. Chennai also has a good labour base with experience in readymade garment industry, he added.
He said the company is able to maintain the quality of its products in all the countries it operates in because all components are sourced centrally in Hong Kong. All the material is imported which increases the cost of the products.
About 80 per cent of the products manufactured in the factory in Chennai will be exported, while the rest would be for the domestic market, he said. The average price of the lingerie would range from Rs 400 to Rs 1200.
“We are currently focusing on women’s innerwear and are making sure Indian women have access to Triumphs complete international collection here in India. The company also plans to launch its premium men’s wear brand, Sloggi Men, in India, shortly”, Said Rosenberg.
