Snag It
Thigh-high boots aren’t the only thing that earned their pass from the strip into the land of high fashion this year. Ripped tights tagged along. So, if you are one of those people who managed to dodge the Teen Rebellion Phase without some snagged nylons, now is your chance to mimic it — and with the sartorial flare this time around.
Speaking of fleeting nylon lives, some bras I’ve seen seem beyond fragile.
My fear?

I am afraid to snag them by merely looking at them. The truth is, even if I manage to give the beauties a nice bath in the Laundress, they may still find their ripped doom during the drying process.
At times like these, I think of The Bra Dryer. I’ve seen the sleek invention on (out of all things) German men’s Vogue page and it looks apt for drying that impossible thin nylon without damage.

And, on top of saving the ultra-fragile bras, it could easily work as a modern art installation on one of my book shelves. A girl can dream…
The morale is, if you are anti-snag and pro-virgin-tulle, wait patiently for the arrival of the bra dryer. Until then, could we be on the verge of the new trend of snagged bras? Hey, why not.
This one seems a bit too perfect. (Just saying.)

La Perla and Eres bras are available on NancyMeyer.com
